As a matter of course and free of charge we always include
Nail grooming. Controlling all nails and if necessary trimming and subsequent grinding. According to prior agreement also color retouching.
Ear grooming. Check-up and if necessary clean-up, and according to breed also plucking (by hand).
Clearing the field of vision, provided it′s not contrary to the breed standard. Otherwise only after prior consultation.
Cutting the hair underneath the paws. On smooth surfaces such as parquet or marble your four-legged friend will slip less and find secure grip when walking.
Hygiene cutting in the anus and genital areas. This is discreet and doesn′t affect the look of the hair style. Improves the hygiene at home.
These services are included in both the "complete coiffure" and the "small grooming". They are not part of the "bathing only" order.
In case your dog was prescribed a special shampoo by the veterinarian, you can bring it with you. Your pet will be bathed with that one, of course!

What we do not offer ... and why
Measures at the anal gland. Regularly draining the anal gland can also have unpleasant consequences, especially with regard to the long-term effect. We are not trained to evaluate whether a gland physiologically needs help or not. However, your veterinarian is, and as a medical professional he can also take responsibility for his actions. At a veterinary practice there is no danger to make mistakes during this procedure.
Measures at the teeth – except for cleaning. There are many reasons not to leave such therapeutic treatments to medical laymen. Keep in mind how long a veterinarian (or dentist) went to a special school – and not for free either. On top of that, canine coiffeurs must not (and can not) perform anesthetic measures. Just ask your vet or your dentist how painful an ultrasonic treatment is if you get near the neck of the teeth. Result: Calculus is not completely removed in dog parlors, this is unthinkable in the pockets. After calculus removal, the surface is not polished in dog parlors, and we don′t know of any parlor that does this. And how long does it take for plaque (deposit) to build again on rough surfaces?
It′s a question of competence why we don′t want to take part in such procedures. Dog owners can ask themselves whether they would allow their hairdresser to operate on their teeth or anywhere else!
